The History of EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God

Out of much travail and longsuffering, the vision of God for EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God was born and on October 8, 2004 a.d., EL-Bethel was established and has continued to grow and develop in faith through the WORD OF GOD. The life and the FRUIT of EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God is through the blood of the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. The BRANCH of EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God can be traced back to the Apostolic Movement in the U.S. of A., and this Apostolic Movement dates back as early as 1854 a.d., in New England and in Topeka, Kansas in 1901 a.d. And having touched off in many other states such as; Missouri and Texas, which eventually lead to a west coast explosion. In 1906 a.d., at the Azuas Street revival in Los Angeles, California there was a wide spread increase of the Holy Ghost, fire and tongues known as the Apostolic Faith Mission Movement. This Movement continued to spread throughout the United States in places such as; Tennessee, Ohio and other parts of the nation. This National movement then became International and eventually found its way to many other countries such as; Latin-America, Europe, and Africa. And the ROOT of this Apostolic Faith Mission Movement can be further traced back to the birth of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, which is the Church of God and was birthed when the day of Pentecost had fully come in the year 30 a.d., and furthermore, the ROOT of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ finds its origin in eternity, in the mind and will of the Lord (Yahweh) God (Elohim) from all eternity, and this is where the ROOT of EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God can be found.

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles".

                             Acts 2:42-42

EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God is armed with the knowledge (the WORD) and with the power (the Holy Ghost/Spirit) of the Living God.

EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God gives allegiance to God Almighty in the name of Jesus Christ and fosters hope, love, forgiveness, faith righteousness and holiness for all people through the WORD OF GOD.

VISION:

EL-Bethel Apostolic Church of God works towards an effective and efficient Religious Organization which values respect, salvation, healing, restoration and security.

VALUES:

• Respect 

        is the esteem for the  worth of a person, special regards for people of all race, gender and culture

• Salvation

     is the remission of sins, redemption, to deliver from hurt, harm death, hell, it is justification and right standing

• Healing

     is to make or become sound, wholesome and peacefully

• Restoration

     is to be restored to personhood, position and power, reconciliation, restitution and Holy Communion

• Secutity

     is freedom, protection, to guard against, to secure from danger or loss, something given to guarantee payment

PRIORITIES:

• Accountability to God Almighty

     to give an explanation and responsibility

• Responsibility to Ministries, Services and Programs

     answerable for acts and decisions, fulfillment of obligations and duties

• Faithfulness in Practice

     confidence through the WORD OF GOD and exercising best practices

St. Matthew 6:9-15;

   "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliever us from evil: For thine is the kingdom and the powerand the glory for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their treapasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses". 

Colossians 1:12-14;

        " Giving thanks unto the Father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins".
